Retail Theft, Unrestrained Child, Battery: Oswego Blotter

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 9

William R. Shelly, Jr., 48, of the 200 block of S. Robinson in Sheridan, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license restricted. The arrest occurred at Rt. 30 and Douglas.

Daniel M. Terry, 19, of the 600 block of S. River St. in Aurora, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 2300 block of Rt. 34.

Sept. 10

Javier Alvarez, 19, of Aurora, was charged with possession/consumption of alcohol by a minor, Eric Hernandez Guzman, 18, of Aurora, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and a juvenile was charged with possession of cannabis less than 10 grams. The incidents occurred in the 4000 block of Rt. 34.

Sept. 12

Alexander W. Gabris, 23, of the 100 block of Chesterfield Dr. in Oswego, was charged with fleeing and eluding, obstructing, no valid driver’s license and speeding. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of Chesterfield Dr.

Juarez A. Gustavo, 55, of the 2800 block of Cranston Circle in Yorkville, was picked up on an in-state warrant. The arrest occurred at Route 34 and Osage Ct.

Police are investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle in the 400 block of Kensington Dr. Three vehicles were left unlocked and loose change, two phone chargers and headphones were taken.

Sept. 13

Chelsey Weathersby, 22, of the 100 block of Bertram in Yorkville, was charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and unrestrained child. The arrest occurred at Orchard and Mill.

Sept. 14

Omer S. Farrukh, 22, of the 400 block of Raintree Dr. in Oswego, was charged with battery. The arrest occurred in the 2700 block of Rt. 34.

Police took a report of a burglary from a motor vehicle where someone broke a window and stole a purse. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Douglas Road.
