School District 308 to Host Parent Awareness Forum on Prevention and Technology Jan. 30

Oswego, Ill. (January 23, 2017) — Community Unit School District 308 is partnering with Mutual Ground to host a Parent Awareness Forum focusing on prevention and technology.

The event is for middle school and high school parents and will be held on Monday, January 30 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Oswego High School (OHS) auditorium.

Presentations, discussions and information on cyber-bullying, sexual abuse prevention, harassment, social media use and how it impacts behavior, suicide, dating violence and more will be shared. The event will also highlight student safety and the importance of law enforcement and school leader partnerships.
