Screwdriver-Armed Robbers Hold Up Gas Station: Police

Police are looking for information that will lead to the arrest of the robbers.

OSWEGO, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours Dec. 31.

According to a release from the office, a clerk at the Marathon gas station, located at 1 Boulder Hill Pass in unincorporated Oswego, said two people entered the store armed with screwdrivers and demanded money. The robbers were dressed in all black and wearing masks.

The robbers left in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of money. The clerk did not sustain any injuries in the robbery.
