Several Theft Cases Include Stolen Car In Oswego: Police

OSWEGO, IL —
Saturday, Aug. 4
Retail theft, unlawful possession
Oswego police reported Abigail Y. Teran-Kaseri, 20, from the 800 block of Hill Ave, Aurora, was arrested at 11:15 p.m., Aug. 4, after stealing $49.47 worth of items from a Meijer located in the 2700 block of Route 34 at 11 p.m. According to police, the young woman has been charged with retail theft and unlawful possession of alcohol. She was detained at Oswego Police Department where she was released on her own recognizance (ROR) and her court date is scheduled for Aug. 20.

Domestic battery
Oswego police reported the arrest of William P. Doody, 48, from the 600 block of Vista Drive, Oswego, around 7:30 p.m., Aug. 4, in the same location following a complaint made by a citizen. According to police, Doody was charged with domestic battery and his bond and court date are pending.

Retail Theft
Oswego police reported Halie R. Robb, 40, of the 0-99 block of Marlin Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 7:42 p.m., Aug. 4, after stealing $174.93 worth of items at 7:21 p.m. at a Meijer located in the 2700 block of Route 34. Police said Robb was charged with retail theft, and bond was posted. Her court date is scheduled for Aug. 27.
Sunday, Aug. 5
Escape
Angel Martin Leal, 23, of the 400 block of Blue Ridge Drive, Oswego, has been charged with eight counts of escape, an adult felony, according to Kendall County Sheriff's Office officials. He was charged on Aug. 5 between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 6
Stolen vehicle
Oswego police said a 2017 gray Mazda CX5, with the license plate AB28921, was reported stolen from the 200 block of Angela Circle and Old Post at 6:28 a.m. According to police, the car was stolen between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. and a 24-year-old female from Oswego reported the incident. Oswego police say they're investigating, and there aren't any suspects at this time.
Battery
Kendall County Sheriff's Office Deputies were called to the 0-99 block of Winrock Road to investigate a battery at 5:17 p.m., Aug. 6, where during an investigation they determined an 11-year-old female from the 100 block of Heathgate Road, Montgomery, and a 14-year-old male from the same area committed battery. According to sheriff officials, both were referred to the Juvenile Probations for a battery charge, and the male was also referred for criminal damage to property.
Traffic accident with injuries
KCSO officials reported responding to the area of Ridge Road and Route 126 just before 2 p.m., Aug. 6, for a car accident with injuries. Sheriff officials said Yatziri Morales, 30, from Aurora, was inside one of the vehicles and was taken by Plainfield Paramedics to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries along with her 3-year-old daughter. Officials said 22-year-old Ramon Marquez, from Joliet, was treated at the scene by paramedics, and was cited for improper u-turn.
