A small plane crashed in the 9000 block of Millbrook Road near Millbrook at around 11:39 a.m. Sunday.
The pilot, Kurt Englemann, was uninjured and the only occupant in the plane, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
Englemann was flying from Wisconsin when he stated his plane lost power, forcing him to attempt a landing in a field, police said.

Representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have been notified, and will complete an investigation.
