Smash Mouth to Headline Oswego Prairiefest

The four-day event will take place June 16-19.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswegoland Park District has announced the musical lineup for 2016’s Prairiefest .

Performing on Thursday, June 16 will be Lucky Boys Confusion and the Prairiewinds Community Band.

On Friday, June 17 will be Animal Farm Band, beginning at 11 a.m. Also playing Friday is Ethan Bell Band and the Marshall Tucker Band

Saturday, June 18 will come Dick Diamond and the Dusters and Smash Mouth, which is best known for songs “All Star” and “Walkin’ on the Sun.”

Prairiefest is a four-day community celebration attended by around 60,000 people over the cost of the event.

“The event features main stage entertainment as well as activities like children’s performers, expo village, petting zoos, pony rides, children’s activities, parade, bucket brigade and a touch a truck event. There is no gate admission. The event is free, compliments of our generous business sponsors,” according to the Prairiefest website.
