Spirit Cheerleading in Yorkville IL had an AMAZING weekend at NIU in DeKalb. Spirit’s third competition of this month was at Cheersport. This was a fantastic opportunity for our teams to impress the judges with their skills and win their divisions and the coveted invitational only bids to Summit in Florida. This is how we did…
Team Envy our SR. Level 4 team won 2nd place.
Team Legacy our SR. Level 2 team won 2nd place.
Team Int3nsity our JR. Level 3 team won 1st place.
Team Inspire our Youth Level 2 team won 1st place.
Team Pride mini level 1 received 1st place.
Team Passion our JR. Level 1 team won 1st place, Level Champions (highest scoring Level 1 team beating 28 level 1teams) and winning a PAID BID to attend Summit D2 in Tampa Florida this April. This is Spirit’s second team to be invited to compete in Florida. We couldn’t be prouder of all the hard work and determination these athletes have shown this season. Way to go Spirit All-Stars.
Next up is Spirit’s local recreational competition at Yorkville Middle School this Sunday January 31st the doors open at 9am and awards will be at 1:20. Come cheer on your favorite teams and check out the All-Star booth while you are there.
