The scavenger hunt will have families solve 20 clues by locating destinations around Oswego and picking up a shamrock at each location.

OSWEGO, IL — A St. Patrick's Day drive-through scavenger hunt is planned in Oswego. Net proceeds from the event, taking place March 13, will benefit the Kendall County Community Food Pantry.

The scavenger hunt, which will last from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., will start at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill, and give families a chance to win prizes — up to $100 in certificates — and learn about their community.

Teams will visit community gathering locations "hidden gems" across town, businesses and parks to solve 20 clues by locating destinations and picking up each of the 20 shamrocks. According to organizers, teams must consist of family members who reside in the same house.
