Stolen Phone, Battery, Retail Theft: Oswego Blotter

Incidents occurred between Jan. 7 and Jan. 14.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


Jan. 7

Police took a report for a cell phone stolen from Thompson Jr. High. The was a black iPhone 6 with a black and silver case. Anyone with information should contact police.

Jan. 8

Jacob Rodriguez, 18, of the 100 block of Longbeach Rd. in Montgomery, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Rodriguez allegedly went to Oswego East High School after drinking.

Jan. 9

Tiffany Henderson, 32, of the 400 block of Danbury Ct. in Oswego, was charged with two counts of domestic battery. The arrest occurred at 71 and Panther.

Police are investigating a retail theft of vaporizer items. The incident occurred at 114 Douglas Road and Barnaby.

A 44-year-old man reported that a Fingerhut Co. account was opened with his name and items were purchased without his consent.

Jan. 12

Police took a report of theft at 102 Meadows Ct. and Harvey Road. Several tools were taken from a job site during business hours.

Jan. 14

Jacob Gansz, 20, of the 24200 block of Prairie Grove in Plainfield, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of paraphernalia. The arrest occurred at Route 30 and Wolf Rd.
