Stop The Oswego Ready Mix Concrete Plant

Oswego Illinois residents are raising concerns over a proposed 442-acre development that could place a ready-mix concrete plant less than 3,000 feet from their homes. The land is loosely bound by Route 71 and Minkler Road which backs up to homes in the Arbor Gate, Deer Path Creek, Lakeview Estates, Lakeview Estates West and West End Addition subdivisions. Other subdivision near the proposed plant are Hunt Club, Deerpath Hills, Morgan Crossing, Ashcroft, and others. This plant would negatively impact the quality of life, health issues of our children and home values in the area. The increase of large truck traffic will also impact the area negatively for everyone who drives near this intersection.

We the concerned home owners of the surrounding subdivisions near Minkler road and route 71 call on our village board to vote down the proposed concrete plant near said intersection. Oswego IL. 60543, Minkler & Route 71.
