Hit and run, battery

Oswego police said they investigated a hit-and-run/aggravated battery incident with a vehicle that took place at 12:34 a.m., Nov. 22 at the intersection of Douglas and Route 30. According to police, the 44-year-old male complainant from Montgomery wasn't injured, but damage is reported at more than $1,500.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police said they are investigating criminal damage to property they said took place between 10 p.m., Nov. 21 and 7 a.m., Nov. 22. at 701 Sparkle Court North. Police said the complainant was a female from Oswego. The damage is valued at $400 to a vehicle and includes slashed tires. Police ask anyone with information to contact Oswego police at 630-551-7300.

Retail theft

Oswego police investigated a retail theft that took place at 8:46 p.m., Nov. 22 at Meijer, 2700 Route 34. Police said property valued at $595.82 was stolen. Police said 35-year-old Lindsey D. McDowell of Chillem Drive, Batavia, was arrested at the same location at 9:10 p.m. on a retail theft warrant issued by Aurora Police Department. She was also charged with retail theft.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police are investigating a battery and criminal damage to property they said took place at 339 Douglas Road at 12:47 a.m., Nov. 21.

Domestic battery

Oswego police said 37-year-old Anne Marie Drufke, of the 510 block of Waubonsee Circle, was arrested at 10:36 p.m., Nov. 21. Police responded to that address for a domestic battery reported taking place at 9:15 p.m. Drufke has been charged with domestic battery and her court date is set for Dec. 11.
