Town fundraiser

I’m a student at Oswego High school I’m hosting a fundraiser for a local family in my neighborhood. I’m trying to raise money for this family because they recently lost their home and they have went bankrupt causing them to be homeless when their son leaves for the Army in 6 months. I created a campaign on the “gofundme” website which is a website that you can raise money for charities through. However, I don’t feel comfortable posting the link everywhere because it is a easy way for teenagers my age to turn a good thing into something bad.
