Traffic Congestion Expected During Soccer Tournament
Festivities will take place between May 27-29.
There will be increased traffic congestion and delays starting Friday, May 27 and going through Sunday, May 29 due to the Oswego Soccer Classic Tournament taking place at PrairieFest Park on the grounds of Oswego High School.
Oswego police say drivers should expect delays in particular while traveling Route 71 between US Route 34 and Forrest Avenue on Friday evening and on Saturday and Sunday between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Drivers should consider alternate routes if they’re not going to the soccer festival.
