Traffic Signals Will Temporarily Switch To Flash Mode Tuesday

An Oswego contractor will be making modifications to traffic signal controllers, which could cause delays, officials said.

OSWEGO, IL — Traffic signals at two downtown Oswego intersections will be in flash mode Tuesday, which could cause delays, officials warned.

One of the village's contractors will be making modifications to traffic signal controllers at the intersections of Washington and Madison streets and Madison and Jefferson streets. Drivers will have to make four-way stops while lights are in flash mode to accommodate the work.

In an alert Monday afternoon, officials are urging drivers to use caution in the area and be prepared for delays.
