Trick-Or-Treating In Oswego: 2025 Hours Revealed
Trick-or-treaters will have another chance to collect candy ahead of Halloween at the downtown trick-or-treating event.
OSWEGO, IL — Fall weather has descended upon Oswego, and that means Halloween is right around the corner.
The holiday falls on a Friday this year, and the Village of Oswego set its recommended trick-or-treating hours for 3:30-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
Children will have another opportunity to collect candy ahead of Halloween at the downtown trick-or-treating event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 25.

- Travel in groups, stay on sidewalks and well-lit streets.
- Make sure costumes don’t block vision. Choose face paint instead of masks, if possible.
- Be seen, use glow sticks or carry flashlights.
- Check treats before eating them.
- Children should never go inside someone’s home or car for a treat. Notify law enforcement authorities immediately about any suspicious or unlawful activity.
For drivers or homeowners
- Drive slowly and stay alert in neighborhoods. Remind new drivers to be extra cautious.
- Take extra time to look for kids at intersections and driveways.
- Make sure your walkway is cleared of any obstacles.
- Keep pets secure or restrained.
