U.S. Air Force Band Starlifter To Play Rescheduled Oswego Concert
The popular seven-piece musical group is hosting a free concert, originally supposed to take place in May, at Oswego's Venue 1012 Sept. 24.

OSWEGO, IL — The U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America's Starlifter will soon take the stage at Oswego's Venue 1012. The popular seven-piece ensemble will perform a concert Sept. 24, officials announced Monday.
The upcoming concert has been rescheduled to September after the original performance was supposed to take place during the weeklong Oswego Honors Veterans festivities in May but got rained out.
"We are so excited to be able to welcome back Starlifter," Village President Troy Parlier said in a statement. "I want to invite everyone in our community to come out to this opportunity to honor our veterans and have a great time. This concert will reach across all genres of music."
