Vietnam Moving Wall In Oswego Through July 3
The traveling memorial is visiting Oswego next weekend, and will be on display for citizens to pay their respects to those who served.

OSWEGO, IL -- The Moving Wall is coming to Oswego and will be on display for citizens to view, honoring the fallen troops of the Vietnam War. It will be on display from June 29 to July 3 at Prairie Point Park.
"Join veterans, fellow patriots and members of the community as we welcome and honor the Vietnam Moving Wall as it comes to Oswego, IL in 2017," the event's Facebook page says.
The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., and has been traveling around the country since 1984, helping Americans honor those who served in Vietnam.

Organizers are setting up a 2,017 flag "healing field" to honor veterans and service men and women.
On July 3, at dusk, the display of the Moving Wall will be capped with a fireworks show.
