Village Of Oswego To Give Away 500 Pumpkins To Residents

October's event will be the second time the Village is hosting the free pumpkin pickup at Venue 1012.

OSWEGO, IL — The Village of Oswego is giving away 500 pumpkins to residents this October.

Similarly to last year, Oswego families can pick up their free pumpkins from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at Venue 1012, 1012 Station Drive. It's the second year the pumpkin pickup is being hosted at Oswego's year-old entertainment venue.

Children are encouraged to attend the fall event in costume.

Pumpkins will be given out one per child and on a first-come, first-served basis. Proof of residency will be required as the event is only open to Oswego residents.
