Volunteers Needed For Oswego's Wine On The Fox Event
The popular event for wine lovers at Hudson Crossing Park is growing and more help is needed, organizers said.
OSWEGO, IL — The 12th Annual Wine on the Fox event is looking for volunteers to pour wine, check IDs, greet visitors and help local businesses with set-up and take-down, event organizers posted on Facebook. The event will showcase more than 75 brands of wine from Illinois, California, Spain, Italy and other wine-growing regions around the world, organizers said. The gathering will be held in Hudson Crossing Park May 5 - 6.
Proceeds from the event go to various Oswego community amenities, programs and events throughout the year, such as the Fourth of July fireworks celebration, organizers said.
The event is free and open to the public. Wine tasting packages are on sale and include a souvenir glass.

Wine on the Fox will also feature live entertainment, local food, a Mother's Day gift-making station, an art demonstration stage and a raffle.
