Warrant, DUI, Excessive Speeding: Oswego Blotter

Incidents occurred between Jan. 15 and Jan. 21.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Jan. 15

Kevin A. Izurieta, 19, of the 3300 block of Alyssa St. in Plano, was charged with driving under the influence. The arrest occurred at Rt. 34 and Jefferson.

Alex S. Ziech, 27, of the 400 block of Cornelia St. in Joliet, was picked up on a warrant. The arrest occurred at 3525 Route 34.

Brandon Jamal Brady, 23, of the 8700 block of Kimbark Ave. in Chicago, was charged with no valid driver’s license and failure to signal. The arrest occurred at Douglas Rd and Route 34.

Jan. 16

Police took a report of unlawful use of a credit card. $294.48 was charged on the card without permission.

Jan. 17

A 16-year-old Oswego boy was charged with speeding 45 miles over the speed limit. The incident occurred at Orchard and Mill Rd.

Jan. 18

Mario D. Torres, 20, of the 0-100 block of Briarcliff Rd. in Montgomery, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. The arrest occurred at Rt. 34 and Wolf Rd.

Jan. 20

Police took a report of theft from a home in the 400 block of Baker Ct. The homeowner told police someone had taken items from the home.

Emma Jean Chatman, 60, of the 200 block of Evans in Aurora, was charged with speeding and driving while license suspended. The arrest occurred at Douglas Rd. and Barnaby Rd.

Jan. 21

Brandon M. Nelson, 18, of the 300 block of Fox Chase Dr., was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. The arrest occurred at Orchard Rd. and Tuscany Trail.

Sonya R. Gladney, 50, of the 300 block of Wolverine Dr., was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an uninsured vehicle.
