Warrant Issued For Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct: Sheriff

Warrant issued for 21-year-old Oswego Township man stemming from a March 30 disorderly conduct incident investigation.

OSWEGO, IL — A warrant has been issued for an Oswego Township man as the result of an investigation from a March disorderly conduct incident, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said. The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office charged 21-year-old David Garza of the 40 block of Afton Drive on Sept. 26 with disorderly conduct for calling 911 and providing false information to elicit a police response during the morning of March 30, the sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office said at 6:41 a.m., March 30, deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Afton Drive for a report of shots fired, where the complainant said he was walking in the area when he heard gunshots in a home.

Kendall County Detectives began an investigation at that time, leading to a warrant and charge against Garza nearly six months later.
