Water Main Break In Downtown Oswego To Be Repaired Friday

Public Works Department crews will be working on the repair on Washington Street just east of Main Street starting at 5 a.m. Friday.

OSWEGO, IL — Crews with the Oswego Public Works Department will be working to repair a broken water main in downtown Oswego Friday, officials said.

Workers will begin the repair, located on Washington Street just east of Main Street, starting at 5 a.m. As a result, the right lane heading east on Washington Street, between Adams and Madison streets, will be closed to traffic.

Officials said water will still be supplied to the area but did not specify for long how the closed lane will impact traffic.
