On the Way to the Market: An Insider’s View

On Thursday February 8, Liz Holmberg will offer valuable insights into the plant industry to Hilltop Gardeners Garden Club, based on a recent article she wrote for Chicagoland Gardening. The article lists and categorizes most blooming plants available on the market through commercial outlets in the states. “On the Way to the Market: An Insider’s View” will explain how to care for the plants, how they differ from one another and the challenges of growing and bringing them to market. As the owner of Lizzie’s Garden in Naperville, Holmberg has had many years of experience.

The program will take place at the February 8 meeting of Hilltop Gardeners Garden Club from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Little White School Museum, 72 Polk Street in Oswego. The public is invited to attend at no cost. Email vgierhart@aol.com for more information.
