When are the People’s Choice Awards? Who’s Nominated?

While the Golden Globes might just be actors and producers patting themselves on the back, the People’s Choice Awards are all about what you, the fans, thought was the best of the best for 2012.

The 2013 People’s Choice Awards begin on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 8:00 p.m. (CST) on CBS.

Kaley Cuoco, most known for her role as Penny on The Big Bang Theory, will be hosting for her second consecutive year.

Up until the awards start, users can still vote on five categories as many times as they’d like. The still open categories include: Favorite Movie Fan Following, Favorite TV Fan Following, Favorite New TV Comedy, Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite Music Fan Following.

There are over 30 different categories of nominations, so here is a quick run-down of some of the more popular categories.
