Windshield Frost Causes Oswego Man to Roll Car
The 18-year-old man was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seat belt.
Windshield frost caused an Oswego man to roll his car Monday morning, according to Oswego police.
Ethan Mandujano, 18, of Oswego, did not clear his windshield of frost before driving and when light from the sun hit his window, he hit a parked car which flipped his Honda, according to Oswego police spokesperson Cathy Nevara. Police were called for the accident at around 7:01 a.m.
Mandujano was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seat belt. He was treated at the scene, but was not taken to a hospital.
Correction: Police mistakenly said Mandujano was cited for an obstructed windshield. This article has been updated with the correct information.
