Woman Charged With DUI: Oswego Police

DUI arrest
Oswego Police say Sharla Y. Modaff, 47, of 23 S. Linden St., South Elgin was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff police at 8:11 p.m. May 18, on Mill and Gates Creek. She was charged with DUI, DUI over 0.8, suspended drivers license, registration suspended for no insurance, speeding and disobeying a traffic control device.

Possession of alcohol by a minor
Oswego Police say Jose N. Garcia and Ivan Munguia, both 18 and Aurora, were arrested at 12:20 a.m. May 18 at Route 30 and Fifth Street and were both charged with unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Saturday, May 19
Accident with injury
Anna Coleman, 43, and Raymond Coleman, 18, both of Huntley, were rear-ended by another vehicle that fled the scene at 2:58 p.m. May 19, while stopped on East Bound Route 34 at Pearces Ford. Oswego police say there were injuries reported and to be on the lookout for a gold GMC Envoy SUV.
