Woman Charged With Aggravated Battery After Punching Cop: Oswego PD
Police were dispatched to a house for a domestic disturbance call. When an officer tried talking to the woman, she hit him, officials said.

OSWEGO, IL — A 25-year-old Oswego woman was arrested after police said she punched an officer in the face Sunday night.
Around 11:50 p.m. Sunday, Oswego police were dispatched to a house for a reported domestic disturbance. When an officer attempted to talk to Valerie K. Conroy, police told Patch she hit the officer.
Conroy, of the 5300 block of Half Round Road, was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, a felony charge.

The woman was booked at the Oswego Police Department and transported to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office to await a bond call.
