You Are Invited: Board of Education to Host Superintendent Reception

Oswego, Ill. (June 3, 2016) — The Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education will host a reception on Monday, June 13, in honor of the district’s departing superintendent of schools and its incoming superintendent.

At the reception, the board will introduce District 308’s incoming Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Sparlin and thank outgoing Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matthew Wendt for his service to Community Unit School District 308. Wendt has accepted a position as superintendent of the Fayetteville, Ark., public school district.

The reception will be held between 5:30 and 7 p.m. in the Oswego East High School atrium. Refreshments will be served, and all faculty, staff, and parents of District 308 students are invited to attend.
