Is Your Son Looking To Play Lacrosse This Winter?

If your son is a current youth player or has interest in learning about the game of lacrosse, the FOX VALLLEY LACROSSE CLUB INDOOR LACROSSE LEAGUE (formerly known as the West Suburban Winter League) is a great opportunity for your son to get out the cold this winter and join the fun with the exciting game of lacrosse.

This league is offered to youth boys grades 2nd thru 8th of all skill levels. Athletes register individually and will be assigned to a team based upon position and experience in an effort to balance the competitiveness of each team.

This league is appropriate for all skill level players from beginner to advanced and offers weekly FREE instructional skill sessions for those wanting extra training. This league is highly recommended for all current Fox Valley Lacrosse players and those looking to try out for a Fox Valley team for the upcoming 2016 Spring Season. However, the league is open to any youth athlete who wants to participate, and we welcome and encourage them to play in the Fox Valley Lacrosse Club league.

League Dates:

• Session 1 – Sundays, 11/1 thru 12/20 (No games 11/29)
• Session 2 – Sundays, 1/10 thru 3/6 (No games 1/17 or 2/14)

Location:

• Players Indoor Sports Center, 1740 Quincy Avenue, Naperville, Illinois

League Overview:

• Includes three divisions: D1 – 7th/8th Grade, D2 – 5th/6th Grade and D3 – 2nd/3rd/4th Grade
• 6 League games plus 1 playoff game, held Sundays between 9am – 6pm
• Games time are will consist of two 24 minute halves (48 min game time) plus skills training time, (minimally a 1 hour time block for games and instruction)
• Each divisions’ game times will be rotated throughout the 7-week session to allow players and parents additional flexibility with other schedule winter activities
• Games are 8v8 and each team will consist of approximately 15 players
• All league games will be professionally officiated

League Fees and Info:

• $175 per player per Session. Can sign up for one or both sessions.
• Uniforms for all games will be the Fox Valley practice pinney.
• For those that need a pinney, the fee is $15.
• Cleats are NOT allowed on the fields at Players.
• Full lacrosse equipment is required by the individual player. Rental equipment is available at Players. Please contact Players for information.
