3 Manufacturers Moving To Palatine Property

PALATINE, IL — The Palatine Village Council approved a proposal to allow Four Star Tool Inc., as well as two businesses owned by Four Star Tool, to move its corporate headquarters from Rolling Meadows to a property on Euclid and Roselle roads in Palatine. The three businesses, which include light manufacturing operations, will occupy the five-acre site where National Technical Systems was formerly stationed.

On Monday, the city council also recommended the Cook County Board give Four Star Tool and its associated businesses a property tax break, and Manager Reid Ottesen said the companies plan to update the property.

Four months ago, the council voted down a tentative proposal to build 25 townhouses on the property, which is located across from Harper College, according to the article.
