32nd Annual Palatine Lions Club/Tom Dorsch Memorial Golf Outing

The Palatine Lions Club will be hosting their 32nd Annual Golf Outing/Tom Dorsch Memorial on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Palatine Hills Golf Course. The Club is now identifying businesses and individuals in the community that are willing to support the event by golfing, being a sponsor or providing prizes that will be raffled the day of the event. The proceeds from this event support Lions’ causes in assisting sight and hearing-impaired residents in the Palatine area, throughout Illinois and around the world. The Palatine Lions have used the money raised at this event each year to support our two (2) largest projects, providing eye exams and eyeglasses to underprivileged students in local school districts 15 & 211 andproviding college scholarship for qualifying college-bound students from Palatine, Fremd, and Rolling Meadows high schools.The golf outing is a fun event. The participants play a “scramble” and there are generally some pretty good stories and laughs that are shared at the end of the day. Golfers receive a Continental Breakfast, FREE access to the Driving Range prior to the event, entry into a putting contest, greens fees, a golf cart and a fantastic lunch all for an amazing price of $110/golfer. What could be better than having a great day of golfing and knowing you are contributing to making someone’s life better?
