Is a 3rd Burger King in Palatine's Future?
The village board plans to vote on a proposal for the new fast-food restaurant next week.
PALATINE, IL — A proposal before the Village Board could give Palatine its third Burger King if trustees approve plans to build another location for the fast food chain, according to the Daily Herald.
The new Burger King would be located at 1630 N. Rand Road, the former site of Wolf Cabinetry, the report stated. According to the proposal, the existing building will be knocked down to make way for the new restaurant and drive-through lane, the report added.
The proposal has already received recommondations from village officials and the village zoning board, but it still needs final approval from the board, the Herald reports.

The village board is scheduled to vote on the proposal at its next meeting, 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9.
