Affordable After School Care for CCSD15 K-8 grade students
The After School Club is a not-for-profit community based service offered to children in Palatine District 15 families at Orbit Skate Center
The After School Club at Orbit Skate Center in Palatine offers a safe and friendly environment for kids in grades K – 8th every day that District 15 is in full session. Open to all our local schools as well as home school children, we can provide transportation from select District 15 Elementary Schools or you can drop your registered child off. You must be a Club member to bring your child to our facility!
Currently we pick up children at Paddock, Lincoln, Jane Addams, Lake Louise, Willow Bend, Winston Campus, Winston Campus Jr. High, Marion Jordan, Kimball Hill, Hunting Ridge, Pleasant Hill, St. James and Thomas Middle School in Arlington Heights. We can add more schools as we get registrations!
- Programs offered are Part Time 1-3 days or Full Time 4-5 days from dismissal until 6pm.
- Open 2:00pm – 6pm daily Monday – Thursday and 1pm – 6pm on Fridays.
- A delicious healthy snack and drink provided upon arrival.
- Homework help so your family enjoys a great evening after the Club closes at 6pm. Our kids complete their homework and parents are raving about our mentors.
- Active play including learn to skate classes, free play time, games and activities along with arts & crafts, visits to the beautiful park behind the facility for fresh air and an occasional field trip.
- Indoor heated and air-conditioned facility, not open to the public during The After School Club hours.
- Transportation from designated elementary schools in District 15 or you can carpool or drop your kids off.
- Convenient monthly billing, Full Time After Care is just $62.50 per week, Part Time After Care is just $37.50 per week. Tuition is billed monthly.
Orbit Skate Center has been a community partner for over 43 years, owned and operated by the same family since 1992. The After School Club is a registered LLC not-for-profit community based program at Orbit Skate Center.
Stop by anytime the rink is open to the public and register your child for this great program! (The rink is closed from 8/1-8/8 for floor repairs)
