Memorial visitation for Albert C. Miksis, of Schaumburg formerly of Palatine will be held Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 from 12 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at , 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067. Deacon Tom Dunne will officiate.
Albert was born Feb. 2, 1928 in Chicago; and he passed away, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.
He was a retired school psychologist for district 214.

Albert was the beloved husband of Maureen E. Miksis (nee Clarke); loving father of Christina (Erik Mashinter) Miksis and Victoria (Brian Coffman) Miksis; loving grandfather of Bridget and Fiona Coffman, step-father of Cynthia (John Robert) North and the late Robert Boss; step-grandfather of Andrew, Megan and Erin North, dear cousin of Sister Teresita Miksis SSC; fond uncle of Eddie (Katie) Miksis, Michael (Shelley) Miksis and Mark (Anne) Miksis; and brother-in-law of Irene and Joanne Miksis.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents Casimir and Anna (nee Pajedaite) Miksis; brothers, Edward and Alphonse Miksis; and his sister, Albina (Art) Foster.
