Alicia and Willie Henke, of Palatine

Memorial visitation for Alicia Henke, 71, and Willie H. Henke, 70, of Palatine for 36 years, will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067.  The Reverend Warren Schilf will officiate.  Interment was private.

Alicia was born October 26, 1941 in Poland and Willie was born August 24, 1942 in Poland; and they both passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 11, 2013.

They were married on February 21, 1966 and became U.S. citizens. Both worked at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Alicia for 20 years in Food Service and Willie for 35 years as an Engineer, until they retired. They enjoyed gardening, feeding birds in their backyard, and their cats, Sissy & Tiger.

Survivors include their daughter, Linda Larson, Alicia’s sister, Wanda; and Willie’s siblings, Walter, Emma and Erna.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents, Czeslaw and Boleslawa (Zwierdz) Krutul and    Willie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Selma (Redun) Henke.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Ave. Northbrook, IL, 60062.
