PALATINE, IL — A Buffalo Grove man is facing multiple felony drug charges after Palatine police said officers recovered suspected fentanyl and cocaine during a traffic stop earlier this month.
Noah B. Karpman, 30, of Buffalo Grove, was charged with:
Officers stopped a vehicle at about 9 p.m. July 10, near East Dundee Road and North Baldwin Road for a traffic violation, according to the Palatine Police Department.
Police said officers made contact with the driver, later identified as Karpman, and a passenger and recovered suspected cocaine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia from the driver during the investigation.
Karpman physically resisted officers as they attempted to arrest him before he was taken into custody.
The passenger was released from the scene without charges.
Karpman appeared for a detention hearing on July 11 and was released pending trial.
His next court appearance is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 11, in Room 108 at the Cook County Third Municipal District Courthouse in Rolling Meadows.
