Arthur R. Eckberg, 91

Memorial service for Arthur R. Eckberg, 91, of Palatine formerly of Clarendon Hills, will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights.

Private interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL.

Arthur was born July 16, 1921 in Chicago, and passed away peacefully at the Pepper Family Hospice Home in Barrington, surrounded by his family.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn E. Eckberg (nee Kammrath); children, Paul (Teri) Eckberg and Kristin (Keith) Buck; grandchildren, Paul (Kristina Powers) Eckberg Jr. and Gus, Andrew and Teddy Buck; great-grandfather of Jadelyn Berg and Mekaili Eckberg; and his brother, Roy Eckberg.
