WHAT:
Barb's Precious Rescue and Adoption Center, located at 313 N. Quentin Rd in Palatine, will host its 2nd annual holiday photo event, Whiskers & Wishes, Pet Photos with Santa on Sunday, December 7, from 1 - 4 p.m. Local pet parents are invited to celebrate the season, snap festive holiday photos, meet adoptable kitties, and support the rescue through donations and merch sales.

Guests can take photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elf, and the rescue’s beloved mascot, Quentin, against a holiday-themed backdrop. A professional photographer, donated by Skorynko Media Group, will be on-site, and all proceeds will benefit Barb’s Precious Rescue. Attendees are encouraged to dress their pets in holiday attire. Suggested donation: $10 or a food item from the rescue’s Amazon Wishlist.

The event will also feature a raffle with prizes and gifts donated by: Ancho & Agave, Bottleneck Management, Cafe Fourteen, Candlelite Chicago, Chicago Culinary Kitchen, Clara's Restaurant, Electric Shuffle, Fry the Coop, Jarosch Bakery, JJ Twigs, Junipr Public Relations, Kendra Scott Deer Park, Mariano's, Photos Hot Dogs, Stan's Donuts, Tap House Grill, Tievoli Pizza Bar, Morkes Chocolates, and Cozy Hearted.
