Palatine author holds public reading of children’s book

Bill Pohlman, longtime Palatine resident, is holding the first public reading of his children’s book The Fox in the Yard, a book inspired by the stories the author told his daughter at bedtime, on July 26th at 3:00 PM at The Cork @ CCF located at 34 Palatine Road in Palatine.

“Bring the kids and grandkids for a fun afternoon,” said Pohlman. “I promise the kids will be entertained and you’ll be able to enjoy a wine, beer, cocktail or something a little lighter as well as one of the small plates on the Cork’s menu.”

The Cork @ CCF is a luxe wine bar experience in downtown Palatine. A curated wine list of 55 wines, cocktails along with small bites, coffee bar and desserts.
