The Palatine Park District presents the annual Canine Carnival on Thursday, July 31 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road, Palatine. This special event is a carnival designed just for dogs and their owners.
This year’s event will feature games and activities for the dogs, raffles, a complimentary souvenir photo of you and your pet, and much more. In addition to these activities sponsored by Palatine Park District, a wide variety of vendors will be on-site to share canine information and their love of dogs. This year’s gold level sponsors include A Closer Bond Dog School, American Chartered Bank, Bentley’s Corner Barkery, Daily Herald Media Group, Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital, Jewel-Osco, Jimminy Clippers & Kitty City, Kriser’s - For Your Pet’s All-Natural Life, Loving Care Animal Hospital, Puppy Love Pet Care, Inc., Tailchasers Incorporated, and Unleashed by Petco.

All dogs must be leashed and accompanied by a handler age 16 and over. Dogs must be wearing a current rabies tag to participate. Pre-registration is required and is available online at www.palatineparks.org using program number 6727-2. Registration can also be completed by mail or in person at Community Center, Falcon Park or Birchwood. The fee is $8 per dog with a handler; the fee includes a goody bag for all participants.
