ComEd Teams Up with Six Chicagoland Hotspots for Coolest Summer Ever Forever Promotion

ComEd is celebrating summertime with its “Coolest Summer Ever Forever” promotion.

The six-week social media promotion will run through August 3, offering amazing prizes and highlighting six of Chicagoland’s most popular cultural destinations, including Adler Planetarium, Brookfield Zoo, Discovery Center Museum, The Field Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo and Shedd Aquarium.

Everyone who visits ComEd.com/coolestsummerever will have a chance to win instant prizes such as complimentary passes and discounts to special exhibits at the cultural destinations. All participants also will have a shot at winning the grand prize, which is membership to all six Chicagoland destinations.

To participate in the Coolest Summer Ever Forever promotion, eligible participants only have to click on and watch one of a series of one-minute videos. Each of the videos is fun to watch and contains interesting tidbits about exhibits and attractions at the featured destinations. After viewing the video, participants are asked a question about energy efficiency or another educational topic, such as safety.  A correct answer to a simple question provides the participants with an opportunity to win an instant prize.  Even participants who don’t answer correctly still win a money-saving special offer.  All participants are entered into the grand prize drawing for lifetime membership to one of the cultural destinations.
