Community Christmas Concert Series 2020

Up to 5 free community Christmas concerts in the northwest suburbs of metropolitan Chicago during the month of December

Each year, in an effort to give back to the communities, beautiful venues open their doors for free Christmas concerts featuring singer Barb Sorensen via the Community Christmas Concert Series.

The Series is produced by Emerald City Music Productions, Inc. which is also owned and operated by Barb, and which is the umbrella record label under which the concert series takes place.
The Community Christmas Concert Series features Barb on acoustic guitar with or without a string backup quartet, performing traditional multicultural Christmas songs sung in their native languages and translated for the audience.

The performances include interesting tidbits of history and fun anecdotes about some of the songs. Barb also brings along a box of hand held percussive instruments for the audience to sing and play along with. ***Note - these concerts tend to fill up/"sell out" very quickly.
Please r.s.v.p. ahead of time with the venue to ensure seating.

The concerts are free for the audience and venues. Emerald City Music Productions, Inc. works with gracious sponsors who see the benefit of bringing free Christmas concerts and supporting community events.
