Dog Adoption Event Saturday 5/28 11am to 2pm

It's a perfect time to start looking for that new 4 legged family member! We have a lot of dogs who are looking for families.

Visit Geneva Petco this Saturday from 11am to 2pm and meet your new best friend!

Here are just some of the dogs that are looking for their very own families:

Merlin - About 5 Months old

Merlin is a Blue Heeler mix pup with very cute big black spots on his back. He's about 5 months old and a very energetic puppy. He came to us with a broken leg. It has healed well and he is ready for his forever home.

He is very friendly and loves to meet people. He is very social with children, adults and other dogs. He sits on command and is working on the drop command and stay when going to the outside door. He LOVES to play fetch and tug of war.

Merlin is well on his way to being potty trained and comes when he is called. He has been crate trained and will cry out if he needs to go outside. He is such a happy and sweet little puppy! He will make a wonderful family dog and his foster mom says that whoever gets him will be incredibly lucky!

Kobi, Adult Flat Coated Retriever/Lab Mix

Kobi is a sweet and loving boy who is looking for his forever home now that he is here in IL. He traveled here from AL and he's excited to see how the awesome people of IL treat their dogs!

He is Housebroken!!! Good with all animals and adults and older children.

He knows sit and stay. Kobi would LOVE to have a fenced yard. He likes being outside most of the day. He loves his food and treats! He is not very vocal, not really a barker. He thinks he's is a big lap dog but doesn't jump on furniture. Big lover. He will make the perfect family dog!

Buddy Approx. 2-3 yrs old Chihuahua mix

Buddy is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle! He is housebroken and stays in the yard with his foster family. He lives in a foster home with a lot of other dogs and gets along with all of the adult dogs. Buddy would love to find a home with someone who wants a cuddle buddy!

Missy Rat Terrier Mix

Missy is a pretty little rat terrier mix. She is approximately 24-30 months old and weighs about 15lbs.

Missy gets along great with bigger and smaller dogs as well as cats and kids. She is shy at first but warms up quickly.

She loves to play and is very engaging. Missy will be a wonderful family dog. She loves belly rubs and giving kisses. She doesn't really bark. When she has to go potty she starts running back and forth. She loves having someone to sleep with. She likes having her own pillow and she does like squeaky toys. Once she's finished playing, she turns into a total love bug!

Dexter Lab/Pit mix

Dexter is a very, very affectionate young man. He is a bundle of energy and loves to play! He doesn't understand why he hasn't been adopted yet, he hears that it could be because he is part Pit, but he doesn't even know what that means!

He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and wait and would love a family that will continue to teach him, he is eager to learn! He is a goofy boy that also loves to chew on antlers and has learned that these are his to chew.
