Downtown Palatine Business Association Hosts Annual Girls on the Town Event on Friday, April 21st

Nearly two dozen DPBA members will offer special offers, giveaways, demonstrations, appetizers and wine tastings during this yearly event.

Downtown Palatine is the place to be on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The popular Girls on the Town event will include nearly two dozen Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) members who will open their doors to event attendees for this exciting, Friday evening event.

Passports are required and will be available for purchase at any of the participating locations below on the day of event for $5. The Passport enables attendees to enjoy complimentary appetizers and wine tastings (at participating locations) along with special offers, giveaways, product and service demonstrations and exciting raffles.

“The Girls on the Town event has grown substantially over the last several years; in 2016 we had nearly 500 women and men enjoy the evening and get to know the merchants of downtown Palatine,” said John Ruetsche of Harrington Manor and Harrington Manor II, who is also the DPBA co-president.

The Girls on the Town event helps to fulfill the core mission of the DPBA, which is to promote each of the association’s members through yearly events.

In addition to Girls on the Town, which is held the third Friday evening in April, the DPBA also hosts Sidewalk Sales at the end of May, the Sweet Pea Pet Parade at the end of August during Downtown Palatine Street Fest, and Holidays on the Town on the Friday night before Thanksgiving.

About the Downtown Palatine Business Organization (DPBA):

The Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) is made up of 26 businesses and organizations located in the downtown Palatine area. The goal of the organization is to provide a number of opportunities for member businesses and organizations to join forces as they highlight the products and/or services each provide, while engaging the local and area community members through yearly events.
