Election 2017: Who's Running for Palatine Public Library District Board of Trustees?
The board needs to fill 5 open seats. Find out who will be on the ballot in April.

PALATINE, IL — The slate is set for the candidates running for the five open seats on the Palatine Public Library District Board of Trustees in this spring's election.
The following are the candidates, listed in the order they filed their nominating papers by the Dec. 19 deadline, who will appear on the April 4 ballot:
- Debby Brauer
- Valerie Sherman
- Andrea Vanderhoek
- Sung Hyun Cho
- Harold L. “Hal” Dvorin
- Bruce Jefferson
- Jeffrey Westhoff
- Gaurav Singh
Library board trustees serve four-year terms, and those elected in April will be in office from May 2017 until May 2021. Candidates must be district residents and are not party affiliated because April's elections are nonpartisan.
