Emmett’s Beer Hitting Retail Market

Brewing company has begun to distribute award-winning hand-crafted beer throughout Cook County.

After years of contemplating and urging from patrons, Emmett’s Brewing Company has taken the plunge and decided to distribute their
award-winning, hand-crafted beers throughout the Chicago area.

“Offering our beer outside of our restaurants has been in the works for a long time,” said Andy Burns, Emmett’s Brewing Company CEO. “We think the timing couldn’t be better.”

Emmett’s has partnered with River North Sales and Service who will distribute their Victory Pale Ale and McCarthy Red Ale among other selections, and will be available in six packs and on draught depending on where they are sold.

The Black IPA, another hand-crafted beer, will only be available on draught, and other seasonal and specialty beers will be sold in half-barrels.

“As of a week-and-a-half ago, these beers are available at 30 on-premise bars and restaurants in the Cook County area, and at a handful of Binny’s, Whole Foods and other off-site retailers,” Burns said.

Dobby’s Liquors in Palatine is also now carrying Emmett’s beers.

Established in 1999, Emmett’s has breweries and restaurants in Palatine, Downer’s Grove and West Dundee.

Their beer selections have won a number of medals in competitions, and the company recently was chosen by Chicago Magazine as one of Chicago’s Best Local Beers.

“Our most award winning flagship beer is our Victory Pale Ale, which won two medals in the Great American Beer Festival in the last
ten years: it also won at the World Beer Cup and our brewmaster, Ryan Clooney, our company’s very first employee, won the North American Brewers Award,” Burns said.

“There is a lot of enthusiasm and interest towards fresh local products from today’s consumer," he said.
