The Famous Ghost Hunt is more than an easy to run
gimmick road rally, it is also a tour of the best Halloween decorated houses in
the NW suburbs. More than 20 great decorated homes will be highlighted or seen
as you drive a tricky, but fun course.
We also take you on magical adventures: riding
the back of a witch's broom; searching your way out of a haunted house; and
searching for our favorite ghost, Sherman The Ghost. Some trick or treating
too!
For about 20 years, this annual event has
thrilled and delighted rally going public, families and those that just want to
have a great time kicking off the Halloween season.
No special equipment is necessary, just a vehicle
and a spirit of adventure and fun. Great for families!
 
Saturday Night October
20
Starts at Woodfield Mall Parking Lot at Light
Pole B-2, just west of the Firestone Tire Center. Registration opens at 6pm,
with cars off around 7:15pm. Special Training Wheels rallye school for people
new to the sport of rallying at 6:45pm.
The rallye ends at a suburban restaurant, where
trophies will be awarded to all rallye classes plus to the best First Time
Participants.
Cost is only $10 per vehicle (as many
people as you want).
