Experience Does Matter in D15 Election

I read an article this morning that really went too far. An article based on complete and utter nonsense.

Lets look at some facts.

Fact 1. The current school board has tried to seek over 130 million in bond money that the tax payers voted down.

Fact 2. The actual current debt of the D15 School District as of 2015 is $31,902,795.

Fact 3. Gerald Chapman was actually the lowest vote earner when he ran for election in 2011 but by magic and politics he was placed on the school board anyhow when his former running mate Rich Bokor passed away. A lot like Chicago politics. I guess they knew what was best for us, over the will of our voters.

Fact 4. The Slate of Babcock, Ekeberg, and Chapman have been funded by unions and special interest.

Fact 5. The Slate of Annerino, Smolka, Wang, Szczupaj, and Kain are running as independents in fact two are registered democrats thus they cannot have been "the PTRO slate".

Fact 6. I am sure you have seen the high road the incumbents have taken with sending out literature with the words HATE, EQUALITY, and OTHER on it (all paid for by a union that has a contract coming up and distributed by a School employee advocacy group ). Why are they trying so hard to send out a negative message, what are they trying to protect? Based on recent history, I'm very sure it is not our taxpayers.

The voters need a change, a change where everyone gets heard - and not just special interest. I am going to vote for the community as a whole, let's move forward instead.

I support Barb Kain, Frank Annerino, Mike Smolka, Anthony Wang and Lisa Szczupaj.
