Finals Week Support at Palatine Library, May 21-24
Teens (Grades 9 - 12) — Study in Quiet Story Room and Unwind with De-stress Kits, VR Breaks, and Meditation Program

Palatine Library, located at 700 N. North Court, in Palatine, helps teens in Grades 9 – 12 during finals week by providing a quiet study zone, de-stress kits, a VR break time, and a meditation program.
Monday, May 21 through Thursday, May 24: The first floor Story Rooms are open from 1:00 – 8:30 p.m. for a quiet place to study. Teens can bring snacks and visit the Reader Assistance Desk to get a de-stress kit (while supplies last).
On Monday, May 21, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., teens give their stressed brain a rest in Story Room C for VR Break Time. They can enjoy some competitive fun with a round of Danger Ball, or play Ocean Descent to be somewhere else for a while.

On Tuesday May 22, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Meditation Chicago teaches three ways to practice Meditation: breathing, mantra with beads, and kirtan, to help teens get through finals week.
