Florence Mazzone, 88

Prayers for Florence Mazzone (nee: Francikowski), 88, of Palatine formerly of Chicago, will be said Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine and then proceeding to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 465 N. Benton Street, Palatine for a funeral mass at 10 a.m.  Entombment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Florence was born July 15, 1924 Chicago, and she passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at home.

Survivors include her children, James Mazzone, Michael (Judith) Mazzone and Philip (Sherri) Mazzone; Grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Jose) Calderon, Corinne Mazzone, Valerie Mazzone, Michael Mazzone Jr., Joseph Mazzone, Christine Mazzone, Tracy (Jonathon) Raddatz; great-grandchildren, Chase, Kylieann, Jon Jr. and Jasmina.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Mazzone and her parents, Eugene and Lillian (nee: Bunik) Francikowski.
